Merry Christmas

To all, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. I pray that your Holidays are filled with joy and that you and your families experience the amazing joy and love that only Jesus can bring!

Merry Christmas,

Jason, Michelle, Kaila, Haylee, Caleb (coming soon) and Tink (the newest addition to the family - a chorkie puppy)

Kaila's Christmas Program

This is Kaila and Haylee right before we left for Kaila's Christmas program at school. Both girls dressed up in their best dresses as left and braved the crazy rain and flooded streets.
Kaila practiced for weeks memorizing the songs that she was going to sing and actually still walks around the house singing them. As we were driving out there, she told us that she wasn't nervous or scared anymore to sing on the stage...and then she got on the stage and saw how many people were watching her and she froze up. She may not have been singing but she was definitely the cutest angel I have ever seen!

Knott's Berry Farm

Last Saturday, Michelle and I took Kaila and Haylee to Knott's Berry Farm for the first time. We were also joined by Phil, Cole, Ally, Dave, Cheryl, Jeff and Devon.

They had a great time and loved almost all of the rides. Haylee actually enjoyed more of the rides than Kaila. As you can see in the photo, Kaila was not a big fan of the Log Ride. She was enjoying the ride until we started the climb and then asked me if we were going to have to go down the big hill. I told her that we were and that she would be fine and that all she needed to do was close her eyes and hang on. Obviously, she didn't close her eyes! You can barely see her but Haylee was sitting behind me and loved every minute of it.

The good news is that they still had Halloween decorations up on the Calico Mine Ride and it scared the girls so I complained and we got free tickets to come another time. I doubt we will be able to talk Kaila into going on the Log Ride again.

It's a Boy

Well, it is official, the Fredregill Family will be adding a boy to the team in February 2009. We will no longer have to be referred to as the FredreGIRLS and we can go back to being just the regular ol' Fredregills.

Caleb Neil Fredregill is expected to join us February 6, 2009.

Kaila's First Day of School

Wow! We can't believe that we could have a kid who is old enough to go to school, but this morning, Kaila got dressed in her school uniform and went off to Junior-Kindergarten at Jordan Christian Academy. She looked so cute dressed up in new clothes and shoes and wearing her Minnie Mouse backpack.

Her teacher's name is Mrs. Junior and there are 7 other students in her class.

She was so excited to go and even more excited to call everyone after we got home and tell them all about her first day at school.
